Standardized Testing Blitz

So a brief layout of my students day consists of four 88 minute periods or roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes of instruction. Here in education limbo we are going to spend 15 minutes of each of these four periods preparing for the standardized test. We need to make a 20  percent gain otherwise horrible things will happen. The student that are tested who "count" are in tenth grade and take a test called the DC BAS . If we fail people will be losing their jobs.

So actual education takes a back seat and I get to grade seventy more assignments a day for 35 days for a rough estimate of twenty extra work hours during this frantic rush to make up for the lack of education my students have recieved thus far.
